Micro SD™ Connectors – 5138 Series

The 5138 Series are connectors for cards that are compliant with microSD™ standards specified by the SD Card Association, which is an organization in charge of setting industry standards for SD Memory Cards. These connectors, featuring a height of 1.6mm, were developed for equipment requiring portability such as mobile phones and mobile equipment. The 5138 Series features a width of 14.3mm, depth of 16.5mm (including tails), and height of 1.6mm; 10,000 mating cycles are guaranteed. The series has a normal direction of card insertion; push-push type with a spring-eject mechanism adopted for secure card operation. It provides a fine “click” feeling at times of card insertion and ejection, and is equipped with a card detection switch. The 5138 Series also features a mechanism to lock the card securely and prevents it from jumping out.
