The 6801 Series are suitable for applications in which high contact reliability is required under harsh environments regarding vibration, temperature, humidity, etc. Applications include in-vehicle units such as car navigation system units, GPS units, and car audio products, medical or industrial equipment, and OA or AV equipment. FPCs/FFCs with tabs prevent improper mating, enable secure connection, and increase the force to retain FPCs/FFCs. The FPCs/FFCs can be also be utilized in our right angle 6288 Series and vertical 6251 Series. Manufactured in factories with ISO/TS16949 certifications, which are the international standards for quality management systems in the automotive industry. Developed an original mechanical structure which prevents rattling when the slider is open. Insertion of the FPC/FFC and slide locking are automated, which contribute to reduction of labor.
