0.3mm – 6841 Series

The 6841 Series are 0.3mm pitch, ZIF, vertical, slide-lock type FPC Connectors that are best suited for the internal connection of electric equipment requiring downsizing and multi-functions, such as notebook PCs, PDAs, DSCs (Digital Still Cameras), DVCs (Digital Video Cameras), digital audio players, etc. These low profile, space-saving products feature a height of 3.6mm and width of 2.95mm (terminals are width of 2.8mm). Due to its vertical design, the FPC is subjected to less constraint in pulling and enables more efficient use of space on the board. The connector is equipped with a structure to temporarily hold the FPC even when the slider is open, which is highly efficient for the assembling work. The slider can be locked with a simple, one finger operation, and staggered leads on the bottom of the insulator are buried in the insulator itself, which prevents the solder bridge and flux from rising in the reflow process.
