Typical Applications
- Satellites
- Space exploration vehicles
The TCP family is a module series where up to 6 surface mount tantalum components are stacked together to produce a single surface mountable unit. These units are available with individual components screened to the SRC9000 space level specification. The TCP Series tantalum module represents the highest packing density for large capacitance / voltage ratings available in surface mount tantalum. These modules feature stacked assemblies of CWR29 style capacitors which provide ultra low ESR and utilize established reliability capacitors (Weibull Grade voltage conditioning) in accordance with MIL-PRF-55365. Ideal for reducing board space layout where multiple tantalum components are used in parallel and additional TCP module ratings and form factors may be available upon request. These components come standard with Weibull reliability level “C” and surge current option “C”. For details on the SRC9000 specification please contact the factory.
